Clinical Engineering Graduate Student Scholarship

The Program in Clinical Engineering at the University of Toronto started in 1984 and has been highly successful as evidenced by the support provided by hospitals involved with the Program over the past two decades and the large number of applications from engineering students from Canadian and international universities. These graduates are working in health care, either in hospitals or industry, or have gone on for further study in medicine or other research areas.

The Institute for Technology in Health Care Scholarship in Clinical Engineering is part of a matching grant that will be made in perpetuity. The recommendation for the award will be made by the Graduate Awards Committee of the Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering of the University of Toronto.  This award is given to the outstanding student in the Clinical Engineering program based on academic performance during tenure in the Program.
